Neil is a landscape lighting designer with over 20 years’ experience delivering thoughtful lighting solutions across the UK and internationally. His work spans projects of all scales, combining clear design intent with technical precision to enhance landscapes, architecture, and the user experience.

Guided by a philosophy of clarity, restraint, and purpose, Neil approaches each project by understanding how people move through a space, where they pause, and how lighting can quietly support these moments. Light defines form, establishes hierarchy, and guides perception, while shadow and darkness remain essential — allowing landscapes and architecture to retain depth and authenticity.

His practice is shaped by long-standing collaboration with leading lighting designers from the United States, underpinned by a strong understanding of system design, specification, and installation. Neil holds professional qualifications as an NPTC CS38-certified tree climber and an NVQ Level 3 Electrician to BS 7671, and is a member of the Professional Garden Consultants Association (MPGCA).

Neil is the founder and lead designer of Light Visuals Ltd., a London-based manufacturer of high-quality, modular landscape and architectural lighting products, known for numerous UK and international firsts. All products are designed and manufactured in England, with sustainability, durability, and long-term performance at their core.
