John Levy Lighting Productions, Inc. (JLLP, Inc.) was founded in 1992 where John Levy embarked on an innovative vision to combine art with architecture and emerging technology to create amazing, transformative experiences via lighting, media, and showmanship not seen at that time outside of a theme park attraction. Today, as president of JLLP, John Levy has grown the company into many markets and practices with highly experienced senior staff including Jon Langrell, Montrell Dunn and Evan Brownell.
In 2025, JLLP’s vision is more relevant than ever, where we contribute our design magic, innovation and technical mastery to a wide variety of project types: Hotel/Hospitality, Fine Dining, Immersive Entertainment, Retail-tainment, Live Entertainment Venues and Theaters, Museums and Learning, Cultural, Meeting Facilities and Convention Centers, Gaming, Spas, Nightclubs, Luxury Retail, Food Hall Concepts, Signature Exterior Lighting Shows on Skyscrapers, Theme park type attractions and environments.
What makes JLLP unique is that the company not only provides the creative design, ideas, and concepts to construction documents, but often the media & art production, live show production design, along with provides the technical systems design required. This, together with field programming assures compliance with design concepts and completion of the project in a timely manner.
