Studio De Schutter specializes in architectural lighting design. Our projects range from museum lighting through to office lighting and installations for public spaces. We focus on light and shadow design bringing out the best atmosphere in different environments and spaces.
We strive for a human-centred approach to design, which we combine in all our projects and lighting design workshops.
Studio De Schutter has won several awards and competitions and is recognised internationally for our research and design.
Good lighting design adds value to space. It takes spaces, its users and the environment into account, whilst balancing function, aesthetics, energy use and well-being. This is what we strive for!
